Oaks Middle School proudly distinguishes itself not only as an AVID National Demonstration School, but as a vibrant campus where the arts are central to student identity and excellence. Our mission—to close the achievement gap by providing every student a comprehensive education that prepares them for future learning and success in a global society—comes to life through strong academic foundations enriched by dynamic artistic opportunities.

The arts are a cornerstone of the Oaks experience. Our Orchestra, Choir, Competition Marching Band, and Auxiliaries programs cultivate creativity, discipline, collaboration, and performance excellence. These programs empower students to develop confidence, leadership, and a passion for artistic expression while achieving at high levels.

Alongside AVID, Honors, and Technology pathways, Oaks implements PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Support) to ensure a positive, safe, and supportive environment where students thrive academically and artistically.
